Sobre el retiro de mis libros de Amazon / About the removal of my books from Amazon

Esto es más que absurdo y no tiene ningún fundamento.
Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing ha dado de baja todos mis libros. Según ellos:
«Hemos detectado que ha subido material a través de su cuenta para el que no tiene los derechos necesarios.
Por lo tanto, mantenemos nuestra decisión previa de cancelar su cuenta de KDP y eliminar todos sus títulos de Amazon.»

Los únicos libros que quedan son aquellos manejados directamente por los autores. Los que estaban bajo mi cuenta han desaparecido (estamos hablando de 10 libros, incluyendo nuestras Antologías Navideñas).

Unos días antes de dar a luz a mi bebé (fue por cesárea), me pidieron pruebas de que tengo los derechos para traducir y publicar el siguiente libro de Alix James «No hay tal cosa como la suerte, una variación de Norte y sur» (autora con la que llevo trabajando unos 8 años). No envié dicha prueba a tiempo porque estaba dando a luz, nos avisaron que nuestro bebé nacería ese día apenas unas horas antes, y ahora una semana después Amazon decide cerrar mi cuenta, privarme de mis regalías y no puedo abrir una nueva cuenta.

Según ellos estoy violando sus políticas, cuando no tienen ninguna razón para hacerlo, y no han querido decirme exactamente cual es el material que viola dichas políticas.

Y lo que más enoja es que al quitar ellos los libros, quienes los hayan comprado en Kindle, estos desaparecen de su cuenta. Y eso no es justo.

Siendo así, veré de tomar otras medidas y posiblemente otro camino para mis traducciones, que han sido mi pasión y mi trabajo en estos 8 años.

This is completely absurd and unfounded.
Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing has removed all of my books. According to them:
“We have detected that you have uploaded material through your account for which you do not have the necessary rights.
Therefore, we are maintaining our previous decision to cancel your KDP account and remove all of your titles from Amazon.”

A few days before giving birth (by C-section), I was asked to provide proof that I have the rights to translate and publish Alix James’s next book, “There’s No Such Thing as Luck, a Variation of North and South” (an author I have been working with for about 8 years). I didn’t send the proof on time because I was giving birth. We were told that our baby would be born that day just a few hours before, and now, a week later, Amazon decides to close my account, deprive me of my royalties, and I can’t open a new account.

The only books left are those managed directly by the authors. The ones under my account have disappeared (we’re talking about 10 books, including our Christmas Anthologies).

According to them, I am violating their policies, when they have no reason to do so, and they have not wanted to tell me exactly which material violates those policies.
And what angers me the most is that when they remove the books, those who have purchased them on Kindle will have them disappear from their account. And that is not fair.

That being the case, I will look into taking other measures and possibly another path for my translations, which have been my passion and my work for the past eight years.
